My story

Dear Little Dudley started as a hobby. As a mom wanting to create something special for her daughter’s birthday, I came across a dinosaur lovey on Instagram. As most DIYers say, “why buy it when I can make it”, so I bought the pattern and yarn and started my first snuggler! After lots of YouTubing on how to crochet and lots of errors, I completed a few projects! Once my friends saw these creations, they asked me to make a few for their kids. After all the kids got their new loveys and seeing the joy they brought, my friends and family started encouraging me to start selling on Etsy!

After two years of selling loveys and stuffed animals, I wrote and published my first crochet pattern! Trying to continuously build my pattern collection, each pattern pushes my creativity and helps me learn something new. I hope crocheters can learn something from my patterns and create something unique and special!

This journey has had so many learning curves and new experiences, but I love every moment of it! Nothing beats starting a business where you can love what you’re doing AND spend time with your kids!
